La Calavera, from the Catalonia region, Spain. Two friends, Mikel Mendizabal and Marc Baulida, who started homebrewing in 2011, joined a cooperative organisation and started selling their beer in a gastronomic restaurant. They opened their brewery in 2013 and brewed rather classical styles in the beginning but quickly picked up an interest in more experimental brews. Pale Ales, Weisen, Stouts but also barrel aged sours and brett fermented beers. Catalan passion and artisan beers at BXLBeerFest.
